Eclipse 2024:
Positive and Negative, Construction and Destruction
As I witnessed the eclipse, I thought about the interplay of
positive and negative space in the light that surrounds us.
The sun was gradually obscured, its curved form narrowing
into a thin line, turning parts of the world into total darkness.

In other words, do we perceive the sun’s form as a deliberate
